In 2015 we were delighted to propose our ideas for the refresh of a number of online presences held and operated by Port of Milford Haven and the creation of a totally new online presence for Pembroke Port.
Phase 1 presented us with the challenge of creating a brand new brochure site for Pembroke Port. The key target audience for the site was to be business end and shipping agents, the primary objective was to create something informative with no gimmicks, simple and easy to use. We created a mobile friendly, content managed website (Umbraco CMS), fully equipped with CRM integration, SEO management and Social Media integration. 35% of the overall traffic is coming through to the site by organic search (via search engine) and 28% of the traffic are viewing on a mobile/tablet device.
The second phase of the brief began in early 2016 and has just gone live this month (yippee!), a standalone website for Quayside Properties, the property arm of Port of Milford Haven. A key objective was to increase traffic in order to achieve 100% occupancy within the available property portfolio. Port of Milford Haven wanted prominent and major calls to action throughout the site with the view to increase enquiries through enquiry forms, call back forms and direct forms. One of the primary objectives of the brief was to include strong use of images to convey the diversity of buildings and business opportunities. We took every opportunity to add large amounts of space for imagery helping to give the site a fresh look and feel. The site features a very high standard of imagery throughout (we can't take the credit for this!) but we love that the client is using the site to its full potential.
