ShapeHand™ and ShapeHandPlus™

ShapeHand is a portable, lightweight hand motion capture system of flexible ribbons that capture hand and finger motion. ShapeHand's flexible sensors are not physically built into a glove and attach to virtually any glove and hand size.

ShapeHand is a 40 sensor data glove and like all Measurand gloves the glove component is interchangeable and disposable.

ShapeHandPlus™

Measurand has a variety of products and options for hand motion capture:

ShapeHandPlus is the ShapeHand capture system integrated with an arm tracking ShapeTape. ShapeHandPlus tracks complete hand and arm movements and poses including rotations and deviations.

ShapeHandPlus is Measurand's integrated system of ShapeHand and ShapeTape arm tape that seamlessly captures complete arm and hand data.

ShapeHand's glove system has two components, a data capturing component of sensors and a glove. The glove component of ShapeHand is essentially that of a leather sports glove. Gloves can be interchanged to accommodate different wearers and sizes and disposed of when desired. ShapeHand's sensor component is easily attached and de-attached to the glove component

Unique features of this system include and adjustable fit system, disposable gloves - the sensor simply detaches and re-atatches to a new glove. ShapeHand is also designed to properly fit different hand sizes and is shipped with small, medium and large gloves that can accommodate most hand sizes. ShapeHand is also designed with ambidextrous design in mind, simply flip the sensor for use on the opposite hand.

ShapeHand seamlessly integrates with the ShapeWrap II motion capture system for simultaneous and real-time motion capture of the hands and body. ShapeHand can also be integrated with other motion capture systems and suits
